How a cabinet job runs

- A bonding primer, then finish coats laid on smooth, with full dry time between them.
- Doors rehung and adjusted, and the hardware reset.

If the boxes are water damaged or the layout is the real problem, new cabinets may be the better spend, and we will say so.

Cabinet questions
Can I use my kitchen during the job?
Partly. The boxes are painted in place, so the kitchen is busy for some of the job. Your written estimate spells out how long and what will be off limits.
Can you change the hardware at the same time?
Yes. If the new pulls use different hole spacing, tell us at the estimate so the old holes are filled before priming.
How should I clean painted cabinets afterwards?
Mild soap and a soft cloth. Skip abrasive pads and harsh degreasers, especially in the first weeks while the finish fully hardens.
